FIU Strategic Plan 2022-2024

Financial intelligence plays a pivotal role in identifying and combating financial risks such as money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing. Delivering the FIUs three year strategic plan focuses on the key aspects of the Bailiwick's Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financial of Terrorism strategy to combat money laundering, terrorist and proliferation financing, and addresses the areas of risk identified in the Bailiwick's National Risk Assessment (NRA).

The plan is based on four priorities which are all aligned with the International standards set by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) specifically developing and improving the effectiveness of financial intelligence to identify and tackle economic and financial crime both domestically and internationally and identifying money laundering, terrorist or proliferation financing trends, emerging threats and patterns.
